Kelvin Moreaux
Game Designer and Teacher at Youth Programs
ITECH Adjunct – Spring 2026 – present
Email: kelvin.moreaux@sunywcc.edu
I started out as a Database Programmer, but always wanted to be a Game Designer. Around 2015 SONY gave developers a chance to make games on PlayStation Vita (PS Vita) for free. Created a simple game using my limited coding skills and MS Paint called Dynamite Dude.
Once I finished that project I felt like I had enough confidence to download the Unity Game Engine. I learned Unity using YouTube tutorials to recreate Dynamite Dude, and how to model in 3D using Blender.
I continue to work with an organization that connects me to different schools and after school programs where I teach Game Design to the youth.
“I push my students to create both 2D and 3D games, by learning the process from character design, to animation, to world creation.“
Kelvin is a graduate of Manhattan University in Computer Engineering, certified in Python and a C# Developer.
